Rwakobo Rock Lodge

This lodge occupies a ridge above Bwindi Impenetrable Forest near the Nkuringo gorilla zone. Eight volcanic-stone cottages feature fireplaces, ensuite bathrooms, private lounges, and verandas with panoramic forest and Virunga Volcano views. Property amenities include a lounge, dining area, spa, and personalised butler service. Staff coordinate permit-enabled gorilla treks, birding, forest walks, and Batwa cultural visits. Conservation links include partnerships with local communities and revenue reinvestment. Cottages use rain‑harvested water, complementing communal Wi‑Fi and laundry services. Its elevation at approximately 2 100 m makes it Uganda’s highest lodge.
